Rose Quartz originates from the Black Hills near Custer, South Dakota. The Native Americans who originally inhabited the area believed that this beautiful stone had mystical healing properties. Rose Quartz has a soft pink color with translucent patches running throughout. It is a rare stone only available in limited quantities.
The Rosetta Urn base is made of sheet bronze, lacquer coated and satin finished which measures 9" x 8", with a walnut base. The Rosetta top is 1 1/2 to 2" thick by approximately 10". The top is highly polished like glass. The natural roughness is retained in the irregular shape and rugged edge. Once polished, the burled swirl of mineral deposits creates a unique and extraordinary design. A brass plate is included, but is not engraved for both the urn and keepsake.
Keepsake base measures 2" x 2", the Rosetta top is 1/2" x 4" and is 8 cubic inches.
